Underwrite new and renewal business for medium premium accounts within provided guidelines, procedures and established authority. Under limited supervision/mentoring and within set authority levels, writes new and renewal medium risks and associations to determine risk quality through review of current classifications, prior losses and safety programs. As member of multi-functional team, provides underwriting expertise in development of service plans for policyholders. Anticipates and arranges for delivery of safety services to policyholders. Participate in sales/service activity, including visiting customers along with underwriting/marketing staff. Requires occasional statewide travel. Customer Service, Initiative, Accountability, Communication. Education and Experience: Requires bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Business Economics (or related field) plus 3 years of directly-related underwriting and marketing work experience.
