Audio Enhancement is a well established, privately held company that provides Technology Solutions for the educational marketplace has an opening for an experienced Director of Finance/ Controller. The Director of Finance/Controller will report to the CFO, and will influence all accounting and financial processes. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Director of Finance/Controller accountabilities include responsibility for financial functions and controls, cost accounting, and financial systems design and maintenance. Other specific accountabilities include: • Account reconciliations • Responsibility for general ledger and financial reporting systems • Implement and refine company controls • Annual Budgeting process leadership • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable • Financial analysis and other projects as determined by company leadership • Inventory Management Successful candidates will have: • A Bachelors degree in finance or accounting • CPA preferred • 3 – 5 years experience as a Director of Finance or Controller • Solid understanding of and background with GAAP • Hands on accounting experience • High level of computer literacy. • Experience with MS Dynamix/Great Plains • Peachtree experience preferred • Advanced forecasting experience • Ability to meet deadlines, work effectively under pressure, and work extended hours when necessary • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion • Process Flow experience • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills This dynamic position offers an excellent work environment and a competitive compensation package, including benefits.
