Long established (in business for more than twenty one years) investment management firm wants individual with courses in finance and with an interest in investments e.g. investing in companies on the New York Stock Exchange. Because this is a small firm, person must be flexible in learning all aspects of the business. Person will do many things during the day, such as portfolio management, talking with clients, researching companies for possible investments, answering phones, taking messages. This challenging full-time position is for the self-directed and ambitious. Extroverted, outgoing personality a must. There will be interaction with the firm’s affluent clientele and potential new clients; therefore it will be desirable for the candidate to be polished, that is have an understanding of how a professional conducts himself or herself in a business setting.
