Description: We currently have a full-time contractor position open for an individual experienced in supporting projects for the Department of Public Works, Fort Richardson, Alaska. The successful applicant will manage obligation documents through the following tasks: Prepare, amend, and verify MIPR’s to facilitate the purchase of goods and services for the environmental department. Maintain departmental spreadsheets. Prepare work orders to ensure all information, signatures, and back up documentation is included. Balance month end reports. Provide billing assistance, to include the preparation of Receiving Reports; (DD250) forms, Public Vouchers (1034 forms), and Vouchers for Transfers (SF 1080) in order to process bills for payment. Prepare COR reports monthly. Prepare funding request forms as well as cash collection vouchers. Provide support to Environmental Budget Analyst, the Contracting and Vendor Pay Departments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from four year college/university and three years of accounting experience or seven years of experience in an accounting field. Experience with government contracts is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Access Databases. Current Alaska driver's license is required. Must pass background investigation commensurate with contract requirements. This position is located on Fort Richardson, Alaska and is open until filled.
