This Alaska Native Corporation is looking for a Corporate Treasure to manage day-to-day treasury operations and provide centralized reporting and tracking of treasury related financial metrics. This is an opportunity to establish and maintain liquidity and capitalization policies for a large and successful ANC. This organization wants you to bring your experience and expertise to the position of Corporate Treasurer to provide leadership, training, and guidance to less experienced staff. Duties include ensuring ready access to low-cost capital. Managing pension and benefit plan funds; maintaining bank and investment bank relationships and developing financial strategies for mergers and acquisitions. The Corporate Treasurer will provide treasury related risk management; provide a high level of department/subsidiary relations and service, and ensure compliance with the corporation’s policies and procedures as well as assuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. The Corporate Treasurer may perform additional managerial duties in the absence of the Director of Financial Reporting & Accounting. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a 4-years college or university, or 8 years of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. An MBA degree is preferred. Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in treasury, accounting, management, and supervisory skills. Advanced experience, knowledge, and training in progressively responsible treasury functions, company operations, management, and supervisory activities. Advanced knowledge of general treasury, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and related accounting and record keeping. Advanced knowledge of related state and federal compliance regulations, and treasury policies and procedures. Intermediate knowledge of human resources and labor laws. Intermediate skills with personal computers and an intermediate understanding of mainframe computer systems.
