Responsibility: • Thoroughly review payroll and settlement statements to ensure accuracy. • Research and resolve discrepancies in payroll and settlement statements. • Respond in a timely manner and provide excellent assistance to all inquiries to ensure that a resolution is reached. • Determine, prepare and key entries for driver payroll and lease operator settlements. • Present payroll and settlement orientation. • Enter pay and deduction items for payroll and settlements processing. • Prepare and process manual payroll entries. • Reconcile General Ledger balance sheet accounts. • Process Comdata entries for Comcheks, Express Cash account adjustments, etc. • Process voe’s, wage assignments and other requests for information. • Cross train for other positions to ensure complete department coverage. • Other duties as assigned. Technical Skills: • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook and database applications • Able to prepare journal entries and reconcile general balance sheet accounts • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details • Ability to multi-task and handle varying tasks simultaneously Behavioral Skills: • Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional manner; actively listens to what others have to say and restates information to ensure understanding. • Demonstrates a motivation to provide fast, accurate and complete customer service at all times. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive material. • Ability to apply organizational skills when given a project; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Uses resources effectively to generate solutions; takes initiative when resolving problems.
