Seeking Controller We are a multifaceted company that manages real estate, develops real estate, investment/asset manager. We are looking for a controller, who can manage all of the accounting activities of our various entities. Experience with Real Estate developments a plus! The Controller reports directly to the Owners and is responsible for the entire Accounting Department (Controller is the entire staff). The controller is accountable for organizing and directing the companies overall Financial Operations, Insurance, Accounting, Budgeting, Cash Flow, Payroll, employee benefits analysis and coordination. Interface with CPA on multiple levels from individual tax returns and K1’s. Interface with executives, owners, and board on various financial and accounting needs. Controller will developed financial reporting for narrative explanations to improve management's understanding and ability to affect operating results. Main Duties: Direct financial operations and internal controls Institutes policy relating to accounting, budgeting and cost control, payroll processing Prepares monthly resulting financial statements. Prepares budgets and financial forecasts for owners, analyzes financial information, monitors budgeted versus actual expenditures. Job Requirements: 5-7 years experience in financial management, with hands on experience as a controller A four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience. Proven track record of results in Internal Control, Budgeting and Forecasting Excellent listening and oral and written communication skills required Excellent people skills with high emotional maturity Strong understanding of Excel and other MS applications Experience in Quickbooks Software preferred.
