We are currently seeking an extraordinary individual to fill this position located in Portland, Oregon. The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for high-level financial support for the OCTRI. S/he will assist in monitoring fiscal transactions, budget and report preparation (including grant budgets), strategic and financial planning; financial management of OCTRI programs; pre and post award grants management; development and distribution of monthly financial reports, modeling projected and actual program income, and other duties as assigned by the Senior Financial Administrator. Requires: Bachelor's degree and 18 hours of accounting courses from an accredited college or university. Two years financial anaylst experience. Five or more years accounting experience in an academic/research environment. Demonstrated experience as team member responsible for grant writing submissions for renewal or annual reporting. Experience running ad hoc reports for stakeholders. Advanced spreadsheet and database skills and experience, including complex functions, formulas and formatting. Knowledge of general accounting and/or financial principles including sponsored projects accounting. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
