TOPP Portable Air, the nation’s leader for the rental and sales of state-of-the-art the temporary and portable heaters, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers supplied for industrial, construction, commercial and special event applications, has an immediate opening for an experienced Credit and Collections Supervisor for our Headquarters in Aston, PA. The Credit and Collections Supervisor will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for the credit and accounts receivable functions of the company. The primary goal of this position is to lower the average payment date through organized methods of collections and increase the predictive validity of accounts that are offered credit and terms through excellent credit management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identify potential delays in customer payments prior to their accounts exceeding established terms • Keep organized records as to collections history for each account • Verify financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit, prepares documents to substantiate findings, and recommends rejection or approval of applications • Establish credit limitations on customer accounts • Review collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures • Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to account • Coordinate with personnel in company branches and credit card companies, to exchange/collect information on specific accounts under collection • Supervise two (2) direct reports REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum of Four (4) years of direct collection experience with two (2) years of management experience highly preferred • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, & Word • Detail oriented • Willing and available to work extra hours as necessary • Ability to multi-task • Ability to work well with others WE OFFER: • Competitive Compensation • Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Insurance • Life/Accident/Disability/Cancer Insurance • 401(k) with Company Match • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • Great Work Environment Interested applicants should APPLY ON LINE with a resume and cover letter, including salary requirements.
