An established law firm seeks a highly motivated part time Bookkeeper. The candidate will be responsible for the billing functions, tracking and entering client and firm costs and maintaining PCLaw, the firm’s accounting/billing system. They will work with staff, attorneys, vendors and clients, as well as work closely with the firm’s outside CPA in the compilation of monthly financial reports. Bookkeeping experience or basic knowledge of accounting, computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets is required. The firm utilizes PCLaw, an integrated accounting/billing system designed specifically for law firms. Although experience with PCLaw is greatly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. The firm is technologically advanced whereby it allows the ability to partially work off-site via secure remote access. Good communication skills, a friendly disposition and positive attitude are a must. Flexible work week (off and on site), approximately 60 hours a month, excellent pay DOE.
