Copper River Seafoods has an immediate opening for an experienced payroll specialist to process bi-weekly payroll and related reports. Job Duties • Prepare and distribute all time sheets for all departments. • Verify accuracy of data and approval of all time sheets • Perform all payroll calculations • Prepare all third party deductions • G/L reconciliation of all payroll accounts • Complete all payroll related forms • Process and file all payroll related quarterly reports. • Maintain vacation and leave records Job Requirements • Minimum of 3 years full time work experience processing computerized payroll. • Proficient with Excel. • Experience with laws regarding non resident employees and J-1 Visas. • Ability to be flexible and meet weekly deadlines • Ability to work overtime May provide related administrative/ clerical support including filing, answering phones, distributing mail and other support functions. Hours will be M-F 7-5. Current workload may require additional overtime. Summer hours will require working alternate Saturdays or Sundays.
