Accountemps currently has a client who is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the role of Head of Finance. This is an excellent leadership opportunity with a growing company! Responsibilities include: *Providing financial leadership through early warning, value creation and continuous improvement processes *Leading the financial activities of the business unit to manage, coordinate, advise and control the financial resources of the business *Continuously seek ways to improve, advise and consult on the overall profitability of the business *Lead profitability improvement projects and measurement of progress. *Manage all primary financial systems to ensure that the business unit records are accurately maintained in accordance with company policies as well as in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements *Manage and/or monitor all inventory and costing systems to ensure consistency according to company policies *Establish and maintain financial control and stewardship over the assets of the business unit by providing financial support concerning risk management, physical asset controls, debt and creditors, currency exposure and business practices Requirements: *10+ years of accounting experience in an increasing management position *Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
