We are currently recruiting for an Accountant for our client in Wilmington, DE. This is a contract assignment, will last at least a few months. Timely and accurate reconciliation and recording of financial information pertaining to the financial statements and financial analysis of the company and its affiliates, which conforms to established company procedures and guidelines. Reconcile and analyze monthly financial information, for the accounts or activities assigned to the position. Prepare exhibits or schedules to support the financial reporting function. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and statistics through the successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in an automated accounting environment. Experience in the Property/Casualty insurance industry is preferred. Effective written & verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills.
