I am looking for players for a Men's Softball League team in Overland Park, KS. We already have 6 guys and will add a couple more but need a few more regular guys who can show up every week as many of the guys on the team are in medical school and have conflicts towards the end of the season. I think it is important to provide some info about us so can know what we are like. We are a group of guys who are mostly friends from HS or college. Most of us played some sport in HS (although only 1 played baseball) and are mainly just looking for a way to have fun and get together. We will definitely be competitive but we are not looking to win the Softball World Champinship (if that even exists?). We will be drinking beer before, after, and during our games although probably not getting too crazy. We would like people who at least know how to play softball/baseball and the more experience the better as this is our first year playing. We will be buying a bat (or two) for the team to use so if you have a bat that would be great. If not, we will be asking each member to help pay for the bat (between $10-20 per person). Our ages range from 21-25 but age does not matter to us. If you think you will have fun with a group of really easy-going guys who want to have fun and play some softball in the meantime, we would love to have you.
