It is in pretty good condition, but could use a cleaning. As far as I know both motors work well. All that needs to be done is a bracket needs to be put on the Johnson. This motor served me flawlessly up until last year. I was in Whittier and the engine started loosing power. Seas were high so I turned around and motored back. Right before I got there it started smoking and I could smell raw fuel. I tried to restart without luck. The dealer told me a new "power head" is $3500, labor (to even look at it) was $95/hr, and nada average retail for the engine is $2900. I paid over 10 grand for this engine! I don't have time to deal with this stuff and letting the dealer rebuild it doesn't make financial sense. Worst case scenario I'm sure it's worth $950 in parts. This boat is an excellent halibut fishing boat and quite speedy. Inboard/outboard GMC 350 engine got snow melt water into engine (engine was under ice in engine compartment)and should be cleaned out or rebuilt but ran perfectly last time driven. Has an outstanding double prop Volvo Penta outdrive (2 props on same shaft turning opposite directions) this type of outdrive costs around 4500$ to set up. 50 gal gas tank.
