I am currently renting a 2 bedroom duplex 2 blocks from KU Med Center. The duplex is 2 story with lots of natural light and an attached garage. It has a more open floor plan than most and large size furniture fits fine (high ceilings). The kitchen is huge with lots of space to move around or put your table. It is a great neighborhood with excellent (and quite) neighbors. Animals are possible. This would be great for a student or a new family. It has central air and heat. The utilities run around $30 for each (gas and electric). Water is paid by the owner. It is set up and ready to go for cable (and internet) in almost every room (the only exception is the bathroom!).
