Desired: EIT (FE) certification We are seeking a Junior-level Electrical Power Engineer to augment our electrical power consulting firm and help lead our design teams. We are an independent consulting electrical engineering firm providing services mainly in the areas of electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. The duties of the position include preparation of electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates as well as performance of field investigations, assessments, and studies. A BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year program is required. Desirable qualifications include power and control systems coursework, professional certification (e.g. EIT/FE, RCDD, LEED), engineering software familiarity, and Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Hawaii would be a plus. Solid technical and communication skills are expected.
