Seeking an Equipment / Inventory Manager for our fast growing company, Delta Leasing, LLC. JOB DESCRIPTION AS FOLLOWS: Sales/Marketing: o Market new areas and clients in Anchorage o Maximize utilization and revenue of existing equipment o Plan, organize, research and evaluate the procurement of equipment and vehicles; coordinate the purchasing and assure optimal pricing and quality; participate in related negotiation and quotation activities; participate in related selling or disposal of used equipment and vehicles. o Make recommendations to management to improve profitability of vehicle and equipment leasing and rental operations. Maintenance/Certifications: o Monitor and evaluate vehicle and equipment maintenance, servicing and repair functions to identify needs and determine financial effectiveness and operational efficiency; participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs to enhance financial effectiveness and operational efficiency of assigned functions. o Monitor, evaluate and determine priority of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair projects and facilitate off-site maintenance. o Monitor compliance with safety, environmental standards, certifications and regulations. o Provide Management with accurate reporting of the off-lease equipment, any maintenance issues and availability status of equipment for leasing. o Ensure equipment is being accurately maintained; provide accurate reporting and maintenance records are being kept on file for all equipment. Preferred Skills/Education: o Job-related experience o Previous operational and/or fleet management experience preferred. o Professional oral and written communication skills. o Work independently with little direction. o Managing complex and competing priorities, coordinating information and activities, and problem solving.
