The St. Mary's Native Corporation (an ANCSA village corporation) is soliciting for the CEO position. The prospective applicant shall perform the duties as are customarily performed by CEO's/Managers of similar ANCSA village corporations. He/she shall be solely responsible to the SMNC Board of Directors. He/she oversees the day to day operations of the corporation, including supervising and conducting the hiring and firing of all corporation employees, carrying out all policies and directives of the board, financial planning and development of the annual budget, development of land planning and management policies and any other projects the board may authorize. He/she provides monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to the board, as well as oversees the annual shareholders meetings. Salary is dependant on experiece, with a minimum starting of $30,000/year, final salary is negotiated with the board. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks is a must. A Business Administration degree or similar business degree is required, or extensive work history and knowledge in similar field may be substitued for some education.
