Our office is looking for a Business Consultant with 5 plus years experience in accounting, operations management, and/or business management consulting. This position is a consulting role and does not involve managing staff. The Business Consultant will provide business process consulting and advisory services to our clients. Ideal candidates will have these skills: * Highly motivated professional with proven analytical and problem solving skills that is highly adaptable to ambiguous situations * Dynamic, confident personality with proven leadership skills, who can take charge and produce results * Ability to consult with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements, understand business strategy and goals, and make recommendations around solution adoption * Ability to develop, recommend and implement business improvements and organizational change for businesses in a variety of industries * Ability to understand business strategy and goals, develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for spending initiatives, and to effectively leverage technology solutions to support business needs * Capability to balance the introduction of new ideas, approaches, and strategies with the practical requirements of the business * Ability to provide independent assessments of processes, applications, people and strategies to identify areas for improved efficiency in processes and use of technology * Aptitude to evaluate competing technology solutions for business fit, value, and return on investment * Ability to assess staffing requirements, evaluate current staff, and manage staff development Qualifications include: * Familiarity with business process analysis; requirements definition, needs assessment, solution analysis, PMBOK * Experience with ERP, MRP and accounting system analysis and selection, preferred * Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to identify business problems and present solution options and the ability to tailor approach and delivery to the appropriate audience * Variety of experience in multiple industries * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with strong attention to detail * 5+ years experience in accounting, operations management, and/or business management consulting * Bachelors degree in Business or Accounting related field, CPA plus * Ability to travel 25-50% Eide Bailly Technology Consulting LLC, formerly Techwise, is a regional consulting services firm providing strategic consulting services; business management software solutions; technology auditing and security risk management; network and system implementation, integration, and support; and custom software application development.
