Construction Project Coordinator For a Technical Services Company doing Site Prep Design/Construction. Main Job Duties – Field Coordination, Purchasing, Safety QA/QC Procedures Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Research material, equipment, travel, freight, subcontracts for bids/estimates • Assist with obtaining materials o Establish relationships with vendors & update vendor list & account info o Call on quotes o Enter P.O.’s into accounting system o Enter bills against P.O.’s o Pick up materials o Checkout materials, tools, equipment, PPE • Make reservations o Set up Accounts as needed & make arrangements o Work with extended stay hotels or local apartment/housing finders to find best value housing per project • Main coordinator for field personnel support • Review timesheets, expense reports/receipts, & daily reports for accuracy o Ensure all documentation is received o Ensure all packing slips have been received to process invoices • Communicate project info to field personnel once contract is awarded and setup project review sessions • Maintain master schedule (All current projects) for all personnel in Microsoft Project o To ensure we have required resources/personnel o To ensure we are meeting project deadlines • Special Projects as needed General Summary: Although General Construction knowledge is required, this position is administrative in nature and requires general office skills. At least two (2) years of applicable experience or training. Must have Intermediate skills in general Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft Project Scheduling experience preferred.
