Tikigaq Corporation is looking for an Anchorage based Division Manager to oversee the Construction & Environment. Duties include: •Establish and promote contacts with potential owners and past clients to obtain work. Pursue new areas of design, construction, or service that the Subsidiary is capable of performing. Present opportunities and recommendations to the Board for review and assistance. •Responsible for the profitable, satisfactory, timely, and safe performance and completion of all contracts. •Seek at all times to minimize costs in a manner consistent with production, quality, safety, Shareholder hire, effective management and other Subsidiary goals and to maximize the profitability of all Corporate operations. •Assure that all material and services purchased by the Subsidiary are fairly and economically procured and that the Subsidiary’s interests are protected throughout the procurement process. •Prepare oral and written reports to the Executive Management Team and Board of Directors and attend meetings as required or requested. Communicate fully with the COO, CFO, and CEO as necessary so that they are knowledgeable about the Subsidiary’s activities. •Establish and maintain business relationships with potential owners, decision-makers who purchase design, construction, services, and other contractors with which the Subsidiary may work cooperatively, such as subcontractors, suppliers, and others. •Ensure that highly motivated and technically competent personnel are hired and retained. Ensure that key personnel are well informed of the long and short-term goals of the Subsidiary and that they are aware of the Subsidiary’s expectations with respect to their contribution towards the achievement of these goals. •Be responsible for developing financial and profit goals, as well as monitoring budgets and capital expenditures. Assure the highest level of financial controls are implemented and consistently exercised. Perform financial variance review analysis on budget to actual activity on a monthly basis. Explain variances in writing to CFO and COO along with specific actions taken and to be taken to correct deficiencies.
