Alaska Native Health Corporation is looking for a Compliance Officer who will responsible for overseeing the development, administration and implementation of the corporation’s Compliance Program to ensure that it conforms to requirements imposed by state, federal, and corporate policy. The CO effectively promotes awareness of corporate ethics, the corporate mission, vision, and values. The CO investigates, monitors, and exercises due diligence on audits and reports on compliance issues to the CEO. Qualifications: Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that are imposed on healthcare systems. RN, R.R.A, or A.R.T, or Legal Background, or equivalent quality improvement training. 5+ Years hospital experience 2+ Years in Corporate Compliance Comprehensive Knowledge of all healthcare delivery services Communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology Ability to maintain confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion Prior HIS/PHS or Federal hospital experience and/or rural hospital experience Knowledge of Joint Commission standards is preferable BA degree, prefer BS or a Masters in Nursing, or a Masters in health, administration, a Medical Degree, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, experience as a CO in a VA Medical Facility, or a degree in Law.
