This is not your ordinary standard massage position, as we are a dental office that provides complimentary spa services to our patients while they are in the chair. We are a office that cares deeply about our patients and want them to have a soothing and healing experience that you can help facilitate through massage from a professional medical therapist. We are looking for someone who wants to be with us long-term and has a desire to get to know our patients. We are a drama-free office, have a zero office gossip policy and go way above and beyond to take care of our patients and our employees. You will always know what an integral part of the office you are and will be rewarded accordingly. A list of some of the services that you will be responsible for providing are as follows: Reflexology Hand and Arm Massage on all patients for 15 to 20 minute intervals Reflexology Foot and calf massage on surgery patients for 15 to 20 minute intervals. Parafin wax treatments along with the Reflexology massage. Head, Neck and Shoulder massage in a massage chair in our waiting area. Full Body massage by appointments. (You will be going from room to room seeing patients, we have four operatories.) You are welcome to do some in office marketing on your own to build on Full Body massages from our patient base, as this will help generate additional income through private massage work with our patients. We will schedule for you as well, no rental fees etc. and will have all supplies. Desired candidate should have excitement to build there client base, a great attitude and be able to work as a team. EXPERIENCE: LMT, NCBTMB certification CPR-First Aid Certified (CURRENT) Must have 2 years experience. Knowledge of Arthritis & Medical conditions, Knowledge in Deep Tissue Massage, Deep Relaxation Techniques, Tirgger Point Therapy, Relaxation Massage, Soft Tissue Therapy & Reflexology. LICENSURE: Must have current malpractice insurance. HOURS: This position will start on Friday’s with a STRONG possibility of going into Full-time w/benefits very shortly. Monday through Thursday, 7am until 4:30pm Fridays 8am until 3pm Benefits for Full Time employees are: 7 paid holidays, 2 weeks paid vacation after 6 months employment, Sick/Well pay, Medical Allowance, Retirement after one year, Bonus plan etc. We take very good care of our employees and expect the same in return.
