We are a fun couple that are going through individual divorces, and are looking for a nice place to live convenient to downtown and LO. The ideal place would be unique (we're not in to conventional apartment living), relatively private, walking distance to shopping, 1BR, and inexpensive. We love the idea of a small cottage, perhaps a guest home or mother-in-law quarters off of your main home, or any other scenario that gives us privacy, our own space to cook and live, and serenity. We are interested in hearing all options, and will offer some of our own to you upon mutual interest. Those options include a possible Rent to Own situation, reduction in rent for my sweat equity (I have personally completely remodeled my old home and would be more than willing to remodel your kitchen, bathroom, flooring, build new rooms, landscaping, etc) or any other options that seems reasonable to the both of us. Due to the impending divorces, money is tight right now, but suffice it to say that you will be dealing with two educated, friendly, professional and artistic people. We both have nice homes that we are leaving, so we want to ensure that the place we choose continues to be peaceful and quiet, quite simply, a home to us. We do not necessarily believe that this will be our final resting spot, but we intend to be there through the summer, in to the fall, and perhaps longer. Please remember that we need to have relatively quick access to Lake Oswego, so any place in West Linn, LO, SE PDX, along Macadam, perhaps Multnomah Village are all very good locations for us.
