We are in need of another housemate by February 1st. This 5 bedroom/3 bath house is in a very quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. The house has two stories with vaulted ceilings. There is a foyer, living room, family room with fireplace, kitchen, laundry room, and backyard with bbq grill. This upstairs bedroom is standard sized; good for one person. The room has hardwood floors and double doors. You will be sharing the bathroom with one other person. The above amount does not include utilities. The average utilities per person, per month is around $50~70, depending on the season. Utilities include SDG&E, Water, Cable, Internet, and Gardening. You will not have any garage or driveway space, but there is ample street parking. First month and security deposit is required upon move-in ($880 total). As for the other housemates, we have all been friends before moving in together. Therefore, the comraderie between us is amazing. There is already 7 of us living in the house; 2 couples and 3 single people. The 7th housemate is being deployed to Iraq at the end of the month. There is already a handful of big & small dogs in the house; 6 to be exact. (My housemates just got a new litter of Maltipoos, which they are trying to sell.) My pitbull puppy is in the backyard during working hours, and the Maltipoos are in the garage when the owners are not home. The backyard is a decent size, where we throw barbecues/parties on a very regular basis. We range from ages 22~31; all of Asian and Filipino descents. Half of us are smokers. We are all hardworking people, who have full time jobs (or two) and/or are still in school/military.
