My brother recently had to move so I now have one spare room availible in a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house directly in the middle of Mira Mesa. The house is located just off the corner of Mira Mesa Blvd & Camino Ruiz - a straight 2 mile shot to the 15 or 805, and very close to just about any restaraunt you can think of as well as a Target, Best Buy, movie theater, bowling alley, and Barnes & Noble. There is a Vons and bus stop walking distance (less than a 1/4 mile) from the house if you don't have a car - and I'm more than willing to help out with giving you a ride when I can (i.e. if you wanna go grocery shopping and buy more than you can carry). The bedroom is approximately 10.5 x 10 feet with a full-size closet. My brother didn't need to take his all his furniture with him, so I have a queen-sized bed (box spring/mattress, no stand, but linens if you want/need), bookself, dresser, computer desk and TV available if you need/want. The bed and bookshelf are both newer and in great condition. The dresser and desk are kinda old/worn but still work. I'm just gonna craigslist/throw out any of it that you don't want to use, so either way works for me. There are three people living here at the moment: 2 men, 1 woman all between 23 & 28. Myself and my girlfriend live in the master bedroom and an old friend of my girlfriend lives in the front bedroom. You would be sharing the front bathroom with him. There is a full-sized kitchen/dining room and living room. The garage has been made into a make-shift rec/smoking room complete with a couch, TV, and stereo (so if you smoke, you can smoke out there). The entire house is fully funished, so you wouldn't need to bring anything by way of furniture, but we could make room if you did have things. There's a working washer and dryer in the garage; the kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove, oven, and microwave. Rent is $700/month plus your share of utilities. Your share of utlities will usually be about $100/month for cable, high speed internet and SDG&E. The lease is up at the end of July and we're all planning to leave then, so this would be perfect for a UCSD student (takes less than 15 minutes to drive to campus) looking to finish out the year or someone here on short-term duty at Miramar. All three of us are pretty laid back and are welcoming of company: mainly, I just need someone to cover my brother's share of bills so that he doesn't have to pay for a room that he's not living in anymore. Must be ok with cats though. I have two 9 month-old kittens (both short hair - they don't really bother my or my roommate's allergies). They're both very friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly...
