Job Details: - High school diploma or equivalent is required - Computer experience is required - Customer service skills - No Experience required. This position is responsible for patient intake/ registration/scheduling, patient record maintenance, daily posting of patient charges, processing financial transactions, answering the telephone, retrieving and distributing patient charts, answering simple billing questions, working with managed care plans, performing office reception and participating in hospital/department performance improvement process. Works under general supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years front office experience required, in a medical office/clinic arena preferred. Data entry experience resulting from training and background with computers/terminals. Experience with coding, charge posting, billing and managed care preferred. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Valid Illinois drivers license. Ability to communicate effectively in English required, both verbally and in writing, Spanish desirable.
