Position Summary: A Fraud Detection Analyst reviews potential fraudulent accounts. The incumbent will take appropriate action based on account and transaction characteristics. The main objective of a Fraud Detection Analyst is to reduce the net fraud loss dollars. Essential Functions: -Analyze accounts to determine if fraudulent activity is present. -Represent the department professionally in talking to internal and external customers in an inbound/outbound call center. -Maintain daily and monthly performance standards, including those pertaining to quality and productivity. -Consistently meet performance standards set by the department. -Contribute ideas and recommendations for process improvements to the department or company. -Work on management approved projects that will improve efficiency. -Identify trends/issues on a daily basis and bring to the attention of the management staff. -Other related responsibilities as assigned Education, Experience, And Skills Required: -Minimum of one-year experience in fraud detection and/or investigation preferred. -College education preferred. -Excellent oral communications skills (grammar, positive tone, active listening, etiquette, empathy, confidence) -Excellent written skills (spelling, logical thought processes and sentence construction, appropriate word choice) -Extremely customer-focused; positive, professional attitude -Self-motivated, quick learner and detail oriented. -Strong PC and internet skills. -Very good organization and work prioritization skills.
