This position requires the individual to act as a liaison between various carrier partners, enrollment representatives, and applicants. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting in securing underwriting requirements from applicants and forwarding them to our carrier partners to finalize the underwriting process. The primary focus is to obtain approved members while providing excellent customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: *Assist customers with non-sales and underwriting oriented functions including helping customers navigate the web site, understand the application process and understand how eHealthInsurance can benefit them, while answering calls in a call center environment on an ACD phone system. *Place outbound calls to carriers, providers and other internal and external affiliates to resolve customer issues. *Keep a customer focus by monitoring CentreVu phone tools to ensure abandonment goals are met. *Offer and educate customers about available ancillary products when appropriate to the needs of the customer.
