Bicycle Mechanic & Business Development Associate Spinners Mobile Bicycle Repair is the Brandywine Valley's first and only mobile bicycle repair business. We fix bikes at our customer's homes and provide personal service at reasonable prices. Mobile bicycle repair is the bicycle industry's fastest growing business segment, and this is your chance to get in while the category is still considered new and growing. We're seeking a highly qualified, highly motivated, multi-talented, and business savvy bicycle mechanic to expand the Mid-Atlantic operations. You'll almost be able to create your own schedule by scheduling appointments from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week (excluding major holidays). For the right candidate, business ownership and/or profit sharing will be considered. The perfect candidate will be running the Mid-Atlantic operation, unassisted, within 1-2 years. Job Description: Provide superior customer service by repairing bicycles at the customer's home Frequent one-on-one interaction with customers, offering advice and occasional instruction Assist with marketing efforts, which may include distributing fliers, creating direct mail, social networking, attending special events, races, charity rides, networking functions, etc. Make sales calls, by phone or in person, to generate new business Pick-up and deliver bicycles within strict timelines Maintain inventory and order additional product as needed Qualifications and requirements: 2-3 years experience repairing bicycles Must have extensive knowledge of all bicycles, parts, and accessories 1-3 years sales experience Clean driving record & reliable personal vehicle Available for work outside of the standard 9-5.
