Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our financial Reporting group. We are responsible for consolidating individual reporting packages on a quarterly basis from subsidiaries. The group provides financial reporting and analyses to Senior Management, and fulfills public reporting requirements. Job Responsibilities: • review the financial statements and supporting schedules reported by subsidiaries • process GAAP adjusting entries and elimination entries in the consolidation process • prepare various Financial Analysis in connection with Financial Reporting • Involve in variance analytics in balance sheet and income statement accounts analysis • Involve in preparing consolidated financial statements and footnotes for SEC reports such as 10Q and 10K • Prepare audit packages pertaining to consolidated financial statements and footnotes Qualifications: • CPA preferred • Four years of diversified accounting experience in CPA firm preferred. • Private industry experience is a big plus • Must be proficient in Excel • Strong analytical skills required. • Strong communications skills both written & verbal Location: Washington, DC Compensation: 75,000 to 85,000 Principals only.
