Position description for Fenton Youth group counselor • Assess and respond to request for services and instruction by the House manager and the authority involved and any other duties as assigned. • Provide crises intervention consulting to team members as requested at the time of referral. • Conduct face-to-face assessment and refer to house manager and whom ever the authority in charge. • Accompany youth on field trips and specific court appearances. • Provide written attention to youth if necessary of any incidents that may happen while you are on duty. Make sure all visitors sign in at all times. • Maker sure that the safety and the security of the youth are protected at all time from any and unusual type of incidents. • Assess youth unusual incidents and assure that the youth are property main person hyghen. • Make sure the youth abide by the house rules and make sure that the youth are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Specific: Ability to keep accurate record at all times • Ability to make sound decisions • Ability to be knowlegable of diverse cultures • Ability to keep home in order and to make sure the youth abide by home rules.
