Play Therapists sought, as part-time consultants, with the background experiences and ability to use a directive or non-directive approach with children, depending on what the situation calls for. Therapists must also have the ability to use therapeutic powers of play to help children prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development.
