Female Georgetown Grad Student seeks an apartment (preferably a studio or 1-bedroom, but open to roommates) starting late August 2009. Since I'm moving in from out of state, I'd love to have a place lined up before I get there. Ideally, I would like to find a place that's less than $1000, has a full-sized kitchen and provides some kind of off-street parking. In terms of neighborhoods, would be open to the Georgetown/Burleith areas, Glover Park, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Van Ness, Tenleytown, and Logan Circle. I am a very responsible tenant and have great credit! I am a fairly neat person and would be open to having roommates, as long as I would have my own room (with a door).
