De Novo Legal is assisting one of its clients in filling a Manager of Document Review Services position. This is a full-time, permanent, in-house position and our client would like to fill it ASAP. The position is located in West Virginia, about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Manager will provide daily oversight for all document review projects, working with all personnel, both employees and contractors. They will work directly with attorneys and clients to ensure project needs are understood and attorney expectations are met. They will ensure proper document review/e-discovery procedures are followed and appropriate case documentation is maintained, and that billing and other revenue targets are met. Responsibilities include: • Personnel Management • Operation Management • Quality Control • Financial Management • Leadership Requirements • JD from an accredited law school • Active license in at least one state bar • 3 to 5 years experience in document review (with at least 1 to 2 years in progressively responsible supervisory or management positions) • Significant experience participating in privilege reviews • Experience managing contract personnel • Familiarity with leading document review platforms • Experience training professionals • Strong writing skills • Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and client services skills • Ability to work closely and confidently with many levels of business management • Ability to multi-task while working on both long and short-term projects • Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize and deliver on demanding deadlines • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, flexible, and to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment • Strong leadership presence and capabilities Location: West Virginia Compensation: DOE Principals only.
