Two girls live upstairs (both just finished grad school programs at G-town) on the same floor as the room and there is one guy downstairs in the basement apartment (been working for 2 years). You would be sharing a bathroom with the two girls. One roommate travels a lot so bathroom time won’t be an issue. All of the roomies are fully employed; we all work very different hours so you won’t have to fight over the kitchen or washer and dryer. The Location: 2223 39th St NW we are at the cross streets of Benton and 39 Street. Local bars and Whole Foods are a 7 min walk and it is a 15-20 min walk to Georgetown University and M St - Georgetown. Also the D1 and D2 buses stop right at the end of our block and it is a 15 min ride that drops you at Dupont Circle. I’ve been without a car for over a year here and catching the bus has never been an issue. The Logistics: The rent is $800 a month without utilities. Utilities run on average about $100 a month for everything. The room is available for move in AUGUST 1st. There is a $400 deposit and first months rent $800 due on signing of the lease. The lease would be for a year.
