Two Woodley Park roommates seeking a third to round out our household starting Aug 1. Apartment is a close walk to the Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams Morgan metro station. Three bedrooms, 2 bath, kitchen, living room/dining room with fantastic amenities -- washer/dryer in the apartment, great air conditioning, oak flooring, enormous windows that let in a ton of natural light, and a gym in the building. Rent is $1075ish, including utilities and will be opening up around August 1st but may be flexible for the right person. WHO WE ARE: One roommate (the one you'd be sharing a bathroom with) is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan working at the National Institutes of Health. She is new to DC and having a lot of fun exploring and attempting to become more outdoors-y. She is looking forward to watching some Michigan football in the fall and also enjoys a good gin and tonic. Some days she thinks about applying to medical school, but mostly opts to watch 30 Rock reruns online instead. The other roommate is a recent graduate of Harvard University and works for a management consulting firm helping non-profits and NGOs with strategic issues. An avid fan of dachshunds and houseplants (though doesn't have either), she enjoys travel, contributing to women's rights causes, and following reality TV melodramas (still reeling from the cancellation of Jon & Kate + 8). WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: A fun, considerate, liberal-minded young professional who is excited to join our laid-back, supportive household. We like to relax at home, go out, explore DC, and enjoy each other's company -- and would like to live with someone interested in much the same. Cleanliness is important but we aren't militant.
