Position Description Will configure water-level station metadata for loading into Data Management System (DMS). This includes configuration of Data Collection Platforms (DCP), sensors, bench marks and levels in DMS, and entry and verification of metadata in station packages. Will also upload metadata into the database to support data ingestion and review of metadata, following established protocols. Will also provide support and oversight in the review of deliverables and communicating on the status of the contractor deliverables. Required Skills 1 year experience in physical science applications with degree, 3 years without degree. Experience with spreadsheets or statistical software necessary. Knowledge of oceanographic principles/practices to process/analyze data. Proficient with MS Office suite. Experience with or knowledge of any GIS package. Knowledge of database and SQL desireable. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. Education BS in physical science preferred.
