Job Description Candidate will develop algorithms for land remote sensing satellite data processing, including sensor calibration and validation, algorithm development, vegetation biomass and phenology analysis, and vegetation characterization. Required Skills 3 to 5 years experience with AVHRR, MODIS, and Landsat satellite remote sensing applications in vegetation biomass and phenology studies. Must be proficient in current and emerging image analysis and satellite data processing tools. Fluency with C, FORTRAN and IDL is expected. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) are required. Education MS in Earth Science, Physical Science, Physics, Math, Computer Science, similar field, or equivalent.
