You have the opportunity to provide a Japanese high school exchange student with a great experience in Central Oregon this Summer! There is a group of 12 students coming to Bend through PeopleLink, www.peoplelink.org and we would love to have you be a part of their experience! When? July 22 - August 2 The benefits: You get to share your family's culture with a eager and interesting Japanese teen for 10 days this summer and show them all the great things about Central Oregon and the United States. Responsibilities as a host: You'll need to provide an appropriate environment for an exchange student, give them breakfast, a bag lunch, and dinner each day and drop them off at their class (with me) each morning at 9. The class will be centrally located, near downtown Bend and you will also receive a daily food stipend.
