Kindergarten Teacher daily duties include: • Developing lesson plans. • Complete all grading, create report cards and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner • Meeting the individual's needs of the children • Interacting with the children to support play, exploration and learning • Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level. • Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills. • Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff. • Committing to continuing education. • Building teamwork. • Using assessment tools. • Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to given lessons to increase student understanding (working directly with parents and students). • Other duties as assigned.
