Hi, I am a stay at home mom and I live on Fort Meade. I have been watching children for over 7 years now, the last of whom was a 15-month-old boy. Here is what I can offer as your child's Babysitter/Nanny: -Plenty of interaction with other children. From the "Romp and Stomp" program at the Rec Center to playdates with the other preschool-age children in the neighborhood, your child will get plenty of time with other kids of his/her age. -Lessons. For a few hours every morning we do age appropriate lessons. Included in this are identifying colors and letters as well as counting. -Crafts. In the afternoons we have a craft hour. During that time the kids can paint, draw etc. -Play. When the weather improves we have a large playground right outside our back door as well as a fenced in back yard. In the winter months we have a finished basement filled with lots of toys. -Library time. My children love to read so we take library trips often. The library here on post has a small room just for kids. We usually go about once a week. I provide snacks throughout the day as well as lunch.
