We need after school care for our 3 children in Ellicott City. We have twin girls who are 11 and entering 6th grade in the fall, and a 14 year old son who is going into 9th grade. They are very active after school (ballet, taekwondo, religious school, etc.) and need transportation to and from these activities, as well as supervision doing homework. Our son has Asperger's Syndrome, so the homework supervision is critical for him. He is hysterically funny, and we all value a good sense of humor! Aside from overseeing homework and driving to and from activities, the children will occasionally need to be fed, and we would want you to keep up with their laundry. You need your own car (and a good driving record), but we will pay for gasoline. During the school year, the kids get home from school at 3 and need to be watched until 7. The ideal nanny will be flexible enough to be available on days when school is closed (both planned closings and closings for inclement weather -- we are both physicians, and the hospital is open when it snows!) and when school closes early. We are laidback people who (I think) are easy to work with. And we offer 2 weeks' paid vacation!! Hope to hear from you soon!
