TEACHER
Progressive state wide non-profit seeks self-motivated individual with strong organizational, time-management and coordinator skills provide high quality early care and learning experiences for young children. Expectations include developing and posting weekly lesson plans, planning a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum for children which follows the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and ensure a safe and healthy classroom environment. Also, plan, teach, and implement the program for children in accordance with the Child Development Center’s policies and procedures. Must participate in a minimum of 20 hours of recommended training programs, conferences, courses and other aspects of professional growth.
Required: 18 years old, HSD or equivalent, plus Center-based Child Development Associate (CDA) or 3 years related professional experience. Demonstration of effective oral and written communication skills including expertise in cross-cultural communication. Basic sill level with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred: Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study.
Conditions: $13.79-$18.36 / hr + DOE + full benefits. Full Time 40 hrs/wk, 52 wks/yr. Benefits package includes medical, vision, dental and life insurance, paid holidays, generous leave accrual and use; 403(b) and profit sharing retirement plans.
