Amazing Grace Lutheran Preschool is looking for an energetic, compassionate teacher to join our teaching team. Teachers work together to create an environment with open-ended activities and projects that give children the opportunity to explore, discover, create and play. The qualifications for a Lead Teacher include current infant/child CPR/first aid certification, experience preferred (but willing to train the right person), 20 hours of continuing education per year, background check required and physical. Lead Teacher must also have the ability to communicate appropriately with children, parent/families, teaching and management teams; complete forms and records related to children’s development and learning experiences; and implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served.
