ArtsWest school is looking for an academic teacher for their middle school program. The school is instituting an exciting and challenging curriculum with hands-on projects where students learn through their interests and passions. This includes interdisciplinary project-based learning, authentic assessments and a strong advisory role. Requirements include: - College degree, teaching certificate and/or experience working with pre-teens and teens - Experience in project-based learning and integrating curriculum on the high school level -- not necessary but a plus - An appreciation for the arts - An ability to work with a dynamic team, take initiative and creatively problem solve - A love for kids and a desire to help them discover their own strengths.
