Duties: Full-time position. Provides assistance to the assigned teacher(s) to focus on child development techniques, safety practices and principles while establishing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Requirements: High School or General Equivalence (GED) Diploma. 6 months to 1 year of experience working with young children. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to clearly relate the program to families, communities and its resources. Need good dexterity with ability to lift 40 pounds, push, pull, carry, climb, balance and kneel to assist and perform activities with children.
