Training, Learning and Consulting is looking for someone who has an associates degree in early childhood education or a related field, extremely detail oriented, has the ability to be organized and multitask. The educational field manager position includes 50-75% travel and overseeing approximately 10-25 instructors/trainers/contractors. The educational field manager will also conduct trainings on many early childhood topics as well. In office work will take place during the day; with some evening and weekend trainings and staff oversight. Please read the job description below to learn more about this exciting position: Educational Field Manager Job Description Activities  Oversee the booking and scheduling of trainings, CDA classes and other professional development opportunities in an effective and professional manner.  Ensure clients, instructors and the TLC administrative team receives documentation of scheduled events in a timely, effective and highly professional manner.  Positively interact with TLC clients, including but not limited to providing information about TLC services and utilizing active listening skills.  Lift materials, up to 40 lbs. in weigh, and assist with office clean-up from time to time.  Continue to learn about current education practices and trends and to share this information with the TLC team. (i.e. Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP), National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation criteria (NAEYC), state licensing, state funding, federal funding & Environmental Rating Scales (ERS))  Research new markets for TLC growth. Responsibilities  Meet with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction with TLC services.  Ensure that we are meeting our budgeted/projected goals for trainings, onsite CDA classes, consulting and other lines of business.  Build our client base by interfacing with clients and programs on a daily basis through different media.  Conduct all day training events and schedule events to maximize day events.  Travel to area training, onsite CDA class and meeting locations during the day, evening and weekend.  Treat all stakeholders with dignity and respect and have sensitivity of cultural differences of all stakeholders.  Conduct interviews with potential instructors and make referrals to the president of TLC.  Assist with the oversight of the instructional team and meet with instructors as needed. Priorities  Report directly to the director of TLC.  Interest in learning more about the field of education through formal and informal learning experiences.  Effectively communicate with participants, staff, independent contractors, supervisors, peers, and subordinates both orally and in writing.  Provide hands on, small group, large group and relevant training experiences as needed.  Maintain TLC files and book keeping including, but not limited to: checks, questionnaires, database and student files.  Never compete with TLC services nor inform others about TLC trade secrets. Attributes  Be a positive, team player with a desire to be a life-long learner.  Possess a related formal degree and/or experience in the early childhood field.  Have at least one year working with children, training, and/or mentoring another adult.  Have the ability to travel to remote locations as needed.
