Solstice RTC is a small, privately owned residential treatment center in Layton, UT. We serve adolescent girls ages 14-17, privately placed with us by their parents for emotional/mental disorders. Our private school serves grades 9-12, Utah State curriculum, core and elective courses. We are seeking an Academic Director to supervise and manage all aspects of our academic program. A qualified candidate would include the following: - Certified teacher in State of Utah - 5+ years teaching High School youth - 1+ years RTC work experience. - Customer service oriented. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills required - Strong work ethic and being a self-starter required - Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries. The following is preferred: - Special Education certification - Experience in school administration - Experience in accreditation process - Masters degree in related field.
